Introduction: Come to our little piece of paradise. Learn and practice Yoga Nidra as taught in the Satyananda Bihar Tradition, practice daily asanas, pranayama, chanting & meditation, and experience living a spiritual life. The program is designed to explore your deeper consciousness. Along side our daily classes, we offer a wide range of workshops. We are not a resort, we are not a guest house, we are an ashram living simply on an organic farm with a Play School. Our ashram holds an open, loving atmosphere of diverse individuals who function much like a spiritual family. We eat, chant, meditate, sing, learn, work, and play together.

Itinerary:

The retreat schedule includes Yoga Nidra, Hatha Yoga, Mantra chanting and meditation. Our program assists you in establishing a daily routine of health and wellness or to deepen your existing yoga practice. It is designed to help you reconnect with yourself. During your stay, you will take part in daily classes, which are suitable for all levels, and practice asanas linked with the breath to revitalize the body, mind, and spirit. Each morning flow will leave you energized for the whole day, while the afternoon Yoga Nidra helps you to explore your deeper consciousness.

YOGA NIDRA – (Psychic Sleep Meditation – yogic dreaming) - the hallmark of Satyananda Bihar School of Yoga and the most popular and enjoyable of the Meditation from the Tantras. It is a lying down relaxation meditation which systematically takes you from the world of outer sounds step by step through body, breath and mind to your deep subconscious to release negativity, tap into creativity and positivity and explore your deeper consciousness connecting to your Higher Consciousness.

ASANA & PRANAYAMA Sadhana session:
The morning is an ideal time to connect with the body and breath, and calm your mind through asana. Asanas for fitness strenghth and flexibility, suitable for beginners, adepts and therapy. Pranayamas to balance, energise and focus. You will get a daily practice, adapted to your needs, that you can continue by yourself at home.

MANTRA CHANTING

Morning and evening Mantra Chanting sessions cleanse, focus and fill the mind with positive energy. In the evening there is a short group Meditation followed by  Kirtan (singing spiritual songs) or Satsang (spiritual discussions on truth). All are welcome to join or simply enjoy the vibrations.

KARMA YOGA: this is a special session where you get to participate actively in the ashram life, in the garden, in the kitchen, helping in the office, house keeping etc. Karma Yoga is the best way “To find the Higher Self you must lose yourself in the service of others” – this is Karma Yoga, Seva.
